What is J&T Express Courier Tracking?

J&T courier tracking is a parcel tracking service that allows package senders and receivers to monitor the state and location of their parcels. To avail of such a service, the individual must provide a Waybill tracking number, which is unique to the package. Entering the tracking number will grant the searcher access to the parcel’s real-time location and status information.

How to Track J&T Express Courier?

Tracking a J&T Express courier is made easy by the J&T Express tracking service. However, the interested customer must input the unique Waybill or J&T tracking number.

The J&T tracking number is a 12-digit number that usually begins with #9 or #7 (example: 930009714000). You can find it on the receipt provided to you when you shipped the parcel. If you’re an e-commerce customer, you can also find the number on the platform’s app, specifically within the details of your purchase.

Here are the steps on how to track J&T Express Courier:

Open the J&T Tracking page.
Input the Waybill tracking number on the search bar.
Click “Track” or “Search.”
Wait for the table to display the parcel or courier’s latest location and receiver. Additional details, such as date and time, may also be presented.

Recipients are contacted before the parcel is delivered to ensure that they are in the target location at the delivery time.

How Does J&T Express Courier Service Work?

Sending and receiving parcels around the Philippines has been made infinitely easier by J&T Express. If you want to send a package through J&T, there are two options: walk-in and pickup.

With either option, you can pack your parcel using your preferred materials or J&T pouches and boxes. However, the latter items are bought separately (i.e., not covered by delivery charges or shipping fees).

The package should weigh at most 50 kg. Also, inform the company if you are shipping fragile items so you are advised accordingly.

Walk-In At Any J&T Express Branch

Walk-in allows you to personally hand over your parcel to any of J&T Express’s 1000+ branches. Before you proceed to the branch, you must first book shipping and fill up an online drop-off form, which is done through J&T’s website or mobile app.

Once you’ve submitted the form, a barcode will be generated. Present the barcode to the J&T Express branch upon handing over your parcel. Pay the shipping fee and use the unique tracking number to monitor your parcel’s real-time status and location.

Avail of J&T Express’s Parcel Pickup Service

If J&T’s branches are far from your home, you can also avail of the more convenient alternative: door-to-door pickup service. To do so, book a pickup schedule online, and a J&T rider will come by your place to take the parcel to its delivery hub.

Booking can be made through the website, mobile app, or 24/7 hotline. However, the 24/7 hotline will only entertain booking for Shoppee pickup or VIP clients.

The pickup is usually free of service. A label will also be provided after booking, which you must print and attach to the parcel before pickup. Also, ensure your package is wrapped carefully and securely; you may use bubble wrap, styrofoam, or styroflakes to ensure such.

E-Commerce Customers

If you are a customer of J&T Express’s e-commerce platforms, you can avail of the courier’s service by selecting J&T Express as your courier of choice upon checkout. You will also receive a unique tracking number to monitor and trace your order. Alternatively, you can monitor the parcel through the e-commerce app.

Business Parcel

J&T launched its business parcel service, a new and faster delivery service made possible through air shipping. It is recommended for time-sensitive documents and other light packages (does not exceed 5.0 kg), as delivery is done within two days after pickup.

However, shipping of business parcels is limited to these destinations only:

Claims

If the package is lost or damaged, J&T accepts claims so that you will receive compensation. When filing for damage-related claims, submit video or photo evidence.

Only claims made by senders are entertained. Thus, coordinate with your recipient for any losses or damages. You can then send your claim through email or contact J&T’s 24/7 hotline.

Also, make sure to make your claim within J&T’s window:

Insurance

If you send items through J&T’s express mail, you may avail of their special insurance. It is a value-added or optional service, so you must pay an additional fee of 1% of the item’s declared price.

Prohibited Items

Whichever J&T Express service you avail, there are specific terms and conditions you must abide by. A critical aspect of such terms and conditions is the prohibited items section, which enumerates the items J&T Express cannot ship.

Here are some prohibited items according to J&T’s website:

Dangerous goods (including explosives, flammable, radioactive, and corrosive items)
Illegal drugs and psychotropic substances
Perishable items
Negative propaganda (i.e., reactionary newspapers, magazines, articles)
Alcohol/liquor products
Live animals and corpses
Currencies
Environmental items (although VIP clients are allowed to ship succulents)

The prohibition list is further extended for business parcels to abide by aviation policies. Thus, you also cannot send these items through a business parcel or air-shipping service:
